Wolf Safety Switches On With Temporary Power Distribution
Wolf Safety adds an explosion protected ATEX splitter box and ATEX cable reel to its expanding range of temporary power distribution systems.
The Wolf ATEX splitter box and cable reel are both CE marked to the ATEX Directive for safe use in Zone 1 potentially explosive atmospheres, where a T5 (splitter box) and T6 (cable reel) temperature class permits. Fully compatible with Wolf Safety’s temporary LED and Fluorescent lighting solutions and operating from 230V or 110V, the splitter box and cable reel enable a bespoke set up of both task and ambient lighting and power distribution systems.
Using various configurations of Wolf’s LinkEx™ LED Temporary Luminaire, LinkEx™ LED Floodlite and other cable-powered products from the temporary lighting range, the splitter box and cable reel facilitate chains of lighting in different areas to be linked together and extended from one central point, allowing a greater area to be illuminated quickly and easily. An added benefit of the splitter box and cable reel is the ability to power ancillary equipment alongside lighting for maintenance type tasks offering a fully flexible solution for the hazardous area worker.
Built to the same high standards as Wolf’s ATEX transformers, both products are robust and compact ensuring that they can withstand the harshest of environments, both onshore and offshore.
