Product Information
The ATEX compliant LL-440 Fluorescent Handheld Leadlamp is a versatile, lightweight, cable powered handlamp, with a high power fluorescent light output, ideal for handheld inspection and work activities in zone 1 and 2 explosive atmospheres.
The LL-440 Handheld Leadlamp is CE marked compliant with the 94/9/EC 'Explosive Atmospheres' (ATEX) Directive and is certified to the IECEx Scheme. PTB Certification is to the latest standards, for use in zone 1 and 2 potentially explosive gas, vapour and mist atmospheres, where a T4 temperature class permits. Dust ignition protection covers use in zones 21 and 22, with a certified maximum surface temperature of 120°C
Modern CCFL cold cathode fluorescent lighting technology is used in the LL-440, with the advantages of an extra long life of up to 20,000 hours, and a high efficiency output of 800 lumens. The replaceable four lamp assembly emits a very high quality, even white light; minimising shadows and enhancing visibility in inspection and work tasks. The supply voltage range for the Handheld Fluorescent Leadlamp is from 110 to 254 volts AC; low voltage units are also available.
The LL-440 has a compact and lightweight design, ideal for handheld use. The transparent light emitting leadlamp enclosure is constructed from robust and highly durable polycarbonate polymer, well able to withstand the effects of heavy industrial use. Further protection from scratches and impact is possible by using a stainless steel spiral lens guard accessory.
Sealed to IP67 the lamps is protected from the ingress of dusts and liquids, enabling use in the harshest of environments. The Leadlamp incorporates an integral oil resisting rubber grip handle with hook for suspension in the work area.
The LL-440 is supplied with 10 metres of HOFR cable and a 110V ATX plug fitted as standard. Alternative cable types and plugs are available on request. A range of ATEX compliant transformers of rugged design and construction, are available, for use in or near hazardous locations.
