The Wolf Safety Lamp Company Ltd. is engaged in the Design, Manufacture, Sales, Marketing and Servicing of Portable Safety Lighting Products, certified safe for use in industrial hazardous areas which could contain explosive Gas or Dust atmospheres.  

The Company has been in the Safety Lamp business since 1912, when its prime output was Miners’ Lamps, an activity which continued for the following fifty years. In the 1970’s with the decline of mining in the UK and Europe Wolf Safety changed direction to supply lighting for industrial applications  

The transition with new products into the Offshore Oil and Gas, Marine Vessels, Refining and Petrochemical Industries, food processing, pharmaceuticals, breweries and distilleries, fire fighting, water treatment and gas distribution markets has been completed during the last three decades.  

Today, the product range is designed, modified and/or adapted to conform to   EC Directive 94/9/EC; “Equipment and Protective Systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres”

The Wolf Safety Lamp Company continues its commitment to all aspects of Quality Assurance by adopting the latest International Standard, BS EN ISO 9001 : 2008, the additional requirements of BS EN 13980 : 2002 “Potentially explosive atmospheres.

Wolf Safety also actively encourage the process of continual improvement within its functions, measuring, analysing and recording such improvements as evidence of real progress.
